Famous, busy resort, in the eastern part of the region, in a convenient position, 45 km north-east from Alicante, 130 km south-east from Valencia. Shopping centre, supermarket, shops, restaurant, bar, disco, evening entertainment, cinema. Access: motorway ap-7, exit number 65 Benidorm. Railway station in the resort. Bus service. Altea 10 km. Calpe 20 km. This former fishing village is now one of the most important and well known resorts in Spain. There is plenty to do at any time of year for everybody. Huge choice of shops, restaurants and bars for all tastes. The Terra Mitica amusement park has 5 themed areas (Africa, Iberia, Greece, Roman and the Islands) reflecting the history and customs of the civilisations. For arrivals by plane: airport Valencia-Manises (VLC) 145 km, Alicante-El Altet (ALC) 60 km.
