Kolobrzeg: Well-known health resort and bathing resort directly by the sea, in a convenient position, 100 km from Swinoujscie, 140 km from Szczecin, 230 km from Gdansk. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Disco, evening entertainment, museum, cinema, attractions. Health cures. Access: railway station in the resort. Bus service. The town was founded in year 1000 by the 1st Polish king Boleslaw Chrobry, there is a wide, sandy beach, pier of 220 m and Nadmorski Park with old trees. Kolobrzeg is also a popular bathing and climatic-balneological resort (saline, therapeutic mud). Reumatism and diseases of respiration, blood circulation and metabolic are cured there. Worth visiting: gothic church (14/15 century), remainings of city walls (15 century), town hall dated 1832 and lighthouse. For arrivals by plane: airport Szczecin (SZZ) 100 km.
