800 - 1100 m. Well-known, family friendly, picturesque winter sports resort, situated at the foot of a mountain in a convenient, position 15 km north-east from Zakopane. In the resort: supermarket, shops, post office, restaurant, bar, folklore evenings. Access: access via a mountain road. Bus service. Boarder crossing in Lysa Polana 9 km. Beautiful landscapes, cristal clear air, healthy climate, picturesque walking tracks, woods full of mushrooms, blueberries and raspberries. The inhabitants speak their dialect, traditions are held up, and traditional costumes are worn. Dom Ludowy the biggest wooden house in Poland, with its theatre stage. There you can meet local craftsmen that paint on glass, curve and make other traditional handmade products. For arrivals by plane: airport - Kraków (KRK) 100 km.
