Residence Serena is located at 650m above sea level, 20 km from Spello and Gubbio, 35 km from Spoleto and 30 km from Perugia. The complex consists of 3 buildings with 10 apartments in total and one big room for joint use. Telephone (outgoing only). Hair-dryers in all the bathrooms. Cosy, simple residence Serena, renovated in 1998 10 km from the centre of Assisi, in a secluded, quiet, sunny position, in the green. For shared use: garden, swimming pool (6 x 12 m, 10.05.-02.10.), outside shower, tennis, garden furniture, barbecue, childrens playground. In the house: reception. Washing machine (for shared use). Linen change weekly. Parking by the house. Shop 6 km, restaurant 150 m, railway station 15 km. Riding stables 5 km.The pool is open from 10.05 to 02.10.

Assisi:
Assisi is the town where S Francesco, patron saint of Italy, lived most of his life, leaving eternal spiritual legacy. This town with its 25000 inhabitants is a few kilometres south-east of Perugia, in one of the most picturesque areas of Umbria. Besides a lovely panoramic view the town offers a marvelous variety of places of cultural and historical interest. Worthseeing the cathedral of S. Francesco where he was buried. The Cappella della Porziuncola inside the Cathedral of S Maria degli Angeli, the church of S Damiano, the church of S Rufino, the Cathedral of Santa Chiara and many others. Numerous worthwhile excursions in the vicinity of the town.
