The skiing area links 6 resorts: Le Corbier, St Jean d’Arves, La Toussuire, Les Bottières, St Sorlin d’Arves and St Colomban des Villards. Saint-Jean-d'Arves’ (La Chal) only skiing area – Le Corbier is also available.

In the winter, Saint Jean d'Arves combines the charm of a traditional village with the joy of winter sport. The ski area "Grand Large", with its 120km slopes is connected with the resorts of Corbier, St. Jean d'Arves, La Toussuire and Bottieres. With entrance to St. Jean, d'Arves and St. Colomban des Villards, the Super Grand Large with 225 km slopes situated in a beautiful landscape. The resort is famous for its pure air and peaceful and relaxing atmosphere: mountain hikes and snowshoe excursions give you a unique opportunity to discover the mountain landscape. The resort offers: Cross country skiing, Paragliding, Introductions to dog sleighs, “Stories and legends nights…ö. Your children will enjoy the snow-covered playground. The residence is situated in the heart of the village and has a superb view overlooking the Aiguilles d'Arves. It comprises eight traditional wooden chalets with 10 to 15 apartments in each. Unique in the resort: an indoor, heated, private swimming pool is available near to the reception area as well as a lounge with a fire and two saunas.
This apartment (52-54 m²) can accommodate from 6 to 8 people. The plus factors in this apartment are: the small but equipped kitchen, the lounge with satellite television and the terrace to enjoy the sunshine!
