850 m. Situated on a sunny plateau, bordered by mountains to the North and open meadowland to the South. Small, family friendly holiday resort with 3000 inhabitants, 32 km west from Innsbruck. In the resort: restaurant, bar. Sauna, sun bed, massage. Access: railway station Innsbruck 32 km. Bus service. Wildermieming is where the TV series Der Bergdoktor is filmed. For arrivals by plane: airport Innsbruck (INN), München Franz Josef (MUC).

During summer time:
Bathing lake, suitable for children. Heated swimming pool. Tennis, golf course 6 hole. Riding. Fitness course. Summer tobbogan run, long 1.3 km in Bieberwier 35 km. Walking path, climbing. Bicycles paths, mountain bike tracks, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire.

80 km cross country ski tracks in the region, winter walking paths 30 km. Toboggan-runs. Natural ice rink, indoor tennis hall. Ski bus (free of charge). Further skiing: Grünberglift at 6 km, Kühtai at 37 km, Seefeld at 18 km. Free childrens practice lift in Mieming.
